Pudong airport to ...?

When asking about getting from Pudong airport to wherever, it would be helpful for would-be answerers, if you remember to include details as follows:


1) Flight arrival time

2) No. of travellers and amount of luggage

3) Which city you're going to: Shanghai or elsewhere?

4) Where in that city? Exact location would be extremely helpful

5) Priority ranking: Time taken, Convenience (eg direct route?) and Cost --> "all 3" is NOT an acceptable answer!

Would you be able to advise any Chauffer Drive details for a Reliable Car & Driver to take us to
Ningbo from Shanghai (Pu Dong) Airport. It will just be a one way journey.

I have a sedan which can carry about 4 persons.Travelling by car is much more convenicent in Shanghai or nearby shanghai. I also can pick you up at the airport. (200RMB)

I would like to pick up this thread again. My wife and I are planning to short trip for my elderly mother and mother-in-law in November 2010. We plan to meet with family in Jiaxing staying in Club 1921 Hotel. We also want to spend 2 to 3 days in Hangzhou. Flying in from Singapore, which airport of arrival would be better? Pudong PVG or Hangzhou HGH to reach Jiaxing. As they are elderly and will need wheelchairs,(they are able to walk short distances) I would of course be using a taxi or limousine service.

Jiaxing is about 150 kilometers from Hangzhou and 110 kilometers from Shanghai. You can take long distance bus after you arrive at Pudong airport. The bus leaves at 11:10 13:10 16:10 and 18:10. It costs CNY 58.

If you hire a car from Shanghai Pudong airport to Jiaxing, you may spend more than 700 rmb. Just for reference.

Sorry, I haven't checked on this site for a while. I would perhaps prefer to land at Pudong airport, though landing at Hangzhou airport (if you want to use AirAsia instead) isn't too bad an option. However if you're considering normal (non-budget) flights, then I'd prefer to land at Pudong airport.

"& thank to Shanghai Pudong airport"? Do you mean "then" instead of "thank"?
I would take a long-distance bus for Ningbo -- Jiangyin. To get from Jiangyin to Shanghai Pudong airport, take a long-distance bus to downtown Shanghai, then there're a variety of ways to get to the airport.
