Recently, some reports has said that ‘Passengers who take Chinese domestic airlines are forbidden to bring liquids in carry-on luggage’ and ‘Liquids in their checked luggage can not exceed 2 liters’.

Regarding this, CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) clarifies that it is not true and there is no change regarding the regulation about bringing liquids on flights.

According to the related regulations, the passengers who take Chinese domestic flights can bring liquids under 1 liter in carry-on luggage (alcohols are not included) but each item should be less than 100 milliliters.

The passengers who take international flights that depart from China can bring liquids too. However, each container should be less than 100 milliliters.
