 | Hi, I've eaten in some chinese restaurants "Chicken with yellow bean sauce", it's a red sweet sticky sauce, with a strong flavour, but I cannot find it ready made, and I cannot find a recipe either!! Anyone can tell me how to prepare it..?? Thanks! |

| Should be able to buy it in any Chinese store in the west or any supermarket in China. I must admit it is really tasty and one of my favourites. Big prawns, carrot and luobo fried in yellow bean sauce |

| It is sometimes simply called Bean Sauce. Mee Chun makes a nice one. It is more brown than yellow. Sometimes you see jars of yellow fermented beans. |

| Cant find in London? have you checked the shops in chinatown? Bear in mind that what we buy in shops is different anyway, maybe the restaurant chef makes his/her own. I am a bit further south than you and we have 2 Chinese shops, both sell the type I like |
