How to go from Beijing Railway station to International Airport ?

Hi,
I am a Danish citizen who will be going to Beijing for a vacation Friday 2 April by train from Suzhou.

I will arrive in Beijing Railway station Saturday morning 7 AM and I have to go to the International Airport to meet my family.

Could anyone give me some advise as to the easiest way to go, thanks.

You could catch a taxi if you don't have much time. It's expensive (about 120RMB; make sure they put the metre on, and go for a 1.20Y taxi). Or try and find your way to a big international hotel and catch their shuttle (not sure of the price).

Beijing international airport is a loooong way out of town to the north. The only direct way from any of the train stations (that I'm aware of) is by taxi.

Generally most visitors to Beijing are local tourists and won't have any reason to head from a local train station to an international airport. Subsequently, the infrastructure isn't really there yet.
