Our first visit to Hongkong and we will be arriving on a flight from Australia at 11.30pm in October. We will be staying in Tsim Sha Tsui. Can anyone advise the best way to get from Hongkong Airport to theYMCA at that late hour?

"Best" is relative. Are you more concerned with convenience (directness/least number of transfers), speed or cost? ("All 3" is not an acceptable answer, sorry.)
You said "we". How many of you are there and how much luggage would you have?

There will be two of us my husband and myself, 2 pieces of luggage plus 2 cabin bags. By best I mean safest way to travel for late at night and also not expensive in cost.

Thank you for your quick response.

GUEST62196 its always safe to travel at night in hk~ noworries :)
just take mtr (metro) from airport to tsim sha tsui
its easy with loads of indication....
the last metro is around 12-1am, im not sure :p
hope ur flight is earlier than that~
if not, overnight buses serve between tst and airport, its easy~

Hong Kong is generally very safe, don't worry!
Are you at the YMCA Salisbury?
You could take the overnight bus N21 (1st departure at 0020, then every 20 mins thereafter; http://www.nwstbus.com.hk/routes/routeinfo.aspx?intLangID=1&searchtype=1&daytime=3&route=N21&routetype=N&company=5) all the way to its final terminus at the Star Ferry Terminal, for 23 HKD/pax. From there it's a short walk to the YMCA Salisbury.

I believe the direct airport shuttle would be easier for them to manage than changing lines on the MTR.
