Dividend payments - Shanghai listed companies

Can anyone explain how dividends are paid by listed companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange? I have more than 12 months of declared dividends from several companies that are due but I'm unable to get anything from the broker that confirms receipt. Just a whole lot of double talk that has changed completely over the last year.
