| Can anyone tell me when the Nadaam festival is in 2005? I plan to visit the grasslands in Inner Mongolia the end of july. When this festival occurs will it still be possible to find accommodation on the grasslands? Has anyone got tips on other grasslands then the ones you can visit from Hohhot (except the far west, that does not fit in my itinary), for instance in the Chifeng area? Is there an area from where it is possible to visit grassland and desert in one time (not meaning Resonant Sand, that seems a bit too touristy for my taste) Tx |

| Isn't the internet a wonderful source of information!!!!!!! You learn something new everyday. I would never have guessed the toxophily!!!! California Thanks for trying to explain. It sounds like something toxic but that is way off the mark!!!!! excuse the pun here. Toxophily n. The art or sport of shooting with bows and arrows. From Toxophilus, the title of a book (1584) by Ascham, designed to mean a lover of the bow. From Greek toxon (bow) + philos (loving). And how's this discription of 'rassle' WANNA 'RASSLE? …we grappled on the mat, shoulder to shoulder, cheek to cheek, sweat staining our tight singlets, our muscles bulging and aching. ... |
