Shanghai Expo was formally open to the public on May 1st. Although I didn’t come to Shanghai in person, I have already watched some guys’ photos. Also I have read their reviews on Shanghai Expo too. If I am asked to express my feelings in one word, that would be “Fantastic!” Honestly, I was shocked by those expo pavilions. They look so beautiful and amazing!

Have you planned a trip to Shanghai Expo? What do you expect from Shanghai Expo 2010?

I don't have much expectation from Shanghai Expo. After reading some reviews, I've decided not to come to Shanghai recently. Maybe, I will go there in October. I guess that there will be fewer people at that time. It is too hot currently. I don't want to be faint at the expo site.

I don't think October will have less visitors, really.
What I'm expecting from Shanghai Expo? Lots of awful behaviour (especially in queues) from the Chinese, actually. Have been there thrice in 5 days so far.

I didn't plan to go there but my 3 months stay in China (Mostly in Guizhou) was ending by taking plane at 0h50 back to France the 7th of May. So I visited Shanghai exposition 4, 5 and 6th of May.

I saw a lot of people with one "exposition passport" in hand (When not a dozen of them) first aiming to get them stamped in the country pavillions, then having themselves photographed turning their backs to what was exposed and then hurrying to next pavillion... so I wonder if "to see the exposition" is a widespread answer...

PIKADIREN,

Don't be surprised. Actually, you can notice such a phenomenon in almost all tourist attractions. They go there to take photos just to prove that they have been there. Nothing else!

I guess that Christine was shocked by the beauty of those pavilions. You know, I have seen some pictures of those pavilions too. They look so amazing during the night.

Ellyse, what time do you suggest to visit Shanghai Expo? Or never go there?

Perhaps June. You'll probably need to go for a week if you want to visit all the pavilions.

GUESTKEVIN0518 Why June? It is summer at that time. It is very hot. Ellyse, do you think that there will be fewer people in June?
