China flights to Europe canceled due to volcanic ash!

CHRISTINE Points: Join Date: Sep 30, 2005 Status: offline Community Moderator	Due to the eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland, Air China, China Eastern Airline and China Southern Airlines have canceled their flights to Eurpoe. Take Air China for example: “at least two Air China fights from Beijing to Europe were canceled and one was delayed on Sunday. The airline's Beijing-to-Paris, Beijing-to-Rome and Madrid-to-Sao Paulo flights and their returns had been canceled by 10:30 am on Mother's Day. It also said that the flight from Beijing to Madrid was delayed 24 hours, until 1 am on Monday.” ---Excerpted from ChinaDaily The second eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano has once again affected the air traffic in Europe. In Spain, France and Portugal, some airports were forced to be closed and many flights were stopped too.
