Getting to the Hong Kong airport

guestBenSG Hello,

I live in Guangzhou, but I'd like to fly to Thailand (vacation) through Hong Kong since it's cheaper. The problem I have is that the flight leaves from Hong Kong at 10:45am. Is there any way for me to reach the airport and clear security in time if I begin my day in Guangzhou? Is there an early morning train or bus I can take?

The earliest bus from Guangzhou to Hong Kong airport (going through Huanggang border) leaves from Hotel Landmark Canton at 0515, fare 230 RMB. I think that should be ok for your flight.
