hello,
a few years back I payed a travel agency to handle my visa to China.
I didn't know I have only a single month of stay and so I over stayed.
At the police station they stamped a deportation visa in my passport, so I had to go out of china in order to get in again. I stayed for a few months more but had to pay each time and renew my visa every month.
Nowdays I want to get a working visa. I got a new passport, will they still be able to make the connection? Do they have my details stored in their computers?
I sort of worry about addressing the chinese embassy about it...

thank you.

GUEST21349 They should not know your previous overstay record and other details.
Please do not worry about that.
It is no problem for you to get a work visa.
If you need my help, please contact me.

I believe they will know about your previous overstay, however you said that you have obtained visas and visted since then. Therefore it should not be an impediment to your application.
