What time of day?
I would reckon around perhaps 160-200 RMB, depending on traffic conditions.

No extra charge for luggage in the taxi. How much luggage do you have, and how many of you are there?
I'd expect perhaps about 160-180 RMB for your fare, depending on traffic conditions.

GUEST15195 There are 2 of us. Luggage: We will have one regular bag, two carry-ons, and one small backpack. Will we have to pay extra?

Another question: Is the exchange rate for $$$ to RMB at the airport favorable? Should we just exchange a small amount there and look for a bank to echange larger amounts?

No extra charges for any luggage, regardless of what it is or where you put it in the taxi.
There's a 50 RMB transaction charge at the currency exchange booths at Pudong airport, but otherwise the rate is the same as banks in town. The 50 RMB transaction charge is waived if you're changing more than 5000 RMB.
Alternatively, there're also ATMs in the airport (including the arrival concourse) which will give RMB cash for international ATM cards.
