guestMatt Hey people!

I'm thinking of going back to Beijing for the 2nd time this summer and am looking for some good places to travel to and hang out for a few days

I already visited Xi'an, Hangzhou and Shanghai on my last trip and am just looking for some new places - anywhere with a lot of culture or some nice scenary ala guilin/yellow mountain

You've already named your own answer: Guilin and Huangshan. So what are you expecting us to suggest?

Summer palace or Great wall ?

Summer Palace and Great Wall? Those are usually associated with Beijing. I think this traveller is looking for destinations other than Beijing.
