Tranquil Water Village: Tongli, Zhouzhuang & Zhujiajiao

Hello All:

During my stay in Shanghai, I would like to visit Shanghai's Tranquil Water Village Zhu jia jiao, but I was told Tongli and Zhouzhuang(in Suzhou)are the best Water Villages too. Can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to get to Tongli and Zhouzhuang?

You can take tourism bus to Tongli or Zhouzhuang. The bus terminal is in the Shanghai Stadium.

I personally suggest you choose Tongli, not Zhouzhuang since it is now too hot for tourists.

meanwhile, beside tongli and zhouzhuang, you could choose Nanxun,Wu zhen, Xi'tang as well. It's convinience to go by bus or if you could afford the taxi rental.

Thank you all for your help.

I was just told by my friend in Shanghai, he suggests me to visit Tongli. As Zhouzhuang is almost the same as Zhu jia jiao ( but I will still visit Zhu jia jiao) . Nanxun or Xitang is a good suggestion.
