We are planning to visit Shanghai Expo 2010 from 26-30 June, we were told that it is the heaviest rain season ("Mei Yu"). The problem is that we are only free during this period otherwise we will miss the Expo otherwise. Is it advisable to go ahead with it, worth the risk?

Yes, go ahead. Just bring umbrellas. And also foldable stools to sit on while waiting in the endless queues!
