On June 4th, the Butterfly House in Beijing Botanical Garden was formally open to the public. Having around 20 kinds of 2000 butterflies, the house includes three halls---Butterfly Release Hall, Hall of Butterfly Science and Exhibition and Hall of Butterfly Handicrafts. However, the latter two halls are still under decoration.

A Butterfly Release Activity is held in the house each week to ensure that the total number of butterflies is more than 2000. Also, visitors will learn much about the butterflies and see different kinds of butterfly handicrafts there. If they like, they can make their own butterfly handicrafts too.
