| Yes, it is National Day holiday from Oct 1-7 and definitely there will be more people choosing to travel during this time. Some attraction sites will even see people heel after heel during rush hours. But the sites will also offer some special activities. It is your choice and you make the decision. |

| If you have the option to change your dates, then I strongly advise to do so unless you love the crowds. Even if your flights etc are booked it is the sheer number of people who are traveling and sightseeing that make it an unpleasant experience. And we all pay inflated prices for hotels, entrance fees and flights as well. |

| Interestingly enough I plan to be in China during this time. I expect it to be survivable, not something that would ruin a trip hopefully. |

| If you're travelling on a budget, on a schedule, and aren't prepared for the crowds, then it won't be a nice experience. |
