Best way from Guangzhou to Shenzhen airport by train?

TEXAS80 Points: Join Date: Jun 13, 2010 Status: offline	I'd like to take the train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen airport. Not sure whether or not to purchase a ticket in advance(online) or at the station. Reading through some of the threads people have said the Guangzhou railway stations are "dangerous"?

BILLCAI Points: Join Date: Aug 28, 2007 Status: Offline	It is best to take train from Guangzhou East railway station, there are more trains there to Shenzhen. Guangzhou railway station used to have some pickpocket, but it has become history, now it is very safe there.

BILLCAI Points: Join Date: Aug 28, 2007 Status: Offline	No, there is no rail to Shenzhen airport, you can take train to Shenzhen Luohu station, and then take taxi there.

Thanks. Looking at the map Luoho seems far from the airport but if that's what it takes I'll enjoy the long taxi ride. :)

BILLCAI Points: Join Date: Aug 28, 2007 Status: Offline	yes, CRH express train is starting with D, every 10 or 20 minutes have one train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen and Shenzhen to Guangzhou.
