Traveling to Shenzhen from HK Airport

Hello - I hope someone can help me. I will be traveling to Shenzhen in two weeks for business. I had to take a flight into Hong Kong (instead of direct to Shenzhen). My flight gets in at 10:30pm (22:30pm). Is the train safe to take at that time of night? Or does anyone know of an alternative way to Shenzhen at that time? The ferry and Trans-Island link both stop at 9:00 (21:00) or so - which doesn't help me.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It is OK to take a night train. I do it a lot to save day time.
BTW,there is no direct train from HongKong to Shenzhen,you can transfer at guangzhou east rail way station.

Why on earth would anyone take a train for Hong Kong -- Guangzhou just to get to Shenzhen?! Just take the MTR instead.
Last bus for Hong Kong airport -- Shenzhen leaves at 2245, so I doubt you're in time for that.
Take a taxi to the Huanggang border and then get across the border into Shenzhen.

you can take a cab to hungguang border then transfer cab to shenzhen .

The Huanggang border is open 24-hours. That's why I suggested that crossing.
