Oriental Pearl, Shanghai or Hong Kong?

Both Shanghai and Hong Kong claim to be the Oriental Pearl. If there is only one such pearl, it is Shanghai or Hong Kong?

of couse it is shanghai,for shanghai owns the oriental bright pearl which is one of the highest bulidings in the world.and welcome to visit it.

Hey all.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai is well-known and it has been the symbol of Shanghai City.

Hong Kong is called the Oriental Pearl for years.

Hard to tell! I prefer Hong Kong :-)

I prefer Hong Kong, too!
It is in Hong Kong that so many pop stars are created, so many pop songs, so many films, martial romance by Jin Yong, love stories by Zhang Xiao Xian.
Shanghai did have Zhang Ai Ling but it was history already.
