Dear all,

In July we will travel to China. In China we will use the railwaysystem many times. Especially by night.

While we have no possibily to recharge our phones and camera at that point...

Can anybody tell if there is electricity available at the hardsleeper cabins?

Thanks!

In my experience it is not normally available in hard sleeper. There are sockets but they have no power. I've had power in soft sleeper and on CRH trains (on the latter, not at every seat).

Restaurants etc are normally happy to let you recharge so top up before you catch the train.

Thanks APAULT!

I will make sure that our camera and phones are fully loaded before we travel any further!
