How do I get from Haikou Airport to Sanya?

TEXAS80 Points: Join Date: Jun 13, 2010 Status: offline	Flights to Haikou from the mainland seem much cheaper than going to Sanya. What is the best way to get from Haikou airport to Sanya? According to maps it looks like there is a train yet I don't see any information about it.

MARRYMAX Points: Join Date: May 26, 2010 Status: Offline	Hey Texas80, Take a cab from Haikou airport to Haikou South Bus Station(海口汽车南站) and then take bus to Sanya. It takes 3.5-4 hours from the bus station to Sanya. Cab fare: around 40-50 RMB. Bus fare: around 79 RMB.

RICHARD121 Points: Join Date: Jun 16, 2010 Status: Offline	The best option is to take a bus from Haikou. It will take approximately 4 to 4.5 hrs to reach Sanya. At 70 to 80 RMB, charges are quite nominal and easy on the pocket. A taxi ride for the same route will charge 300 RMB. But if the drivers sense that you are a foreigner, they might hike the charges to 400 RMB.
