Buy Apple products made in north and central China?

guestApplefans Foxconn is said to shift part of Apple products production from Shenzhen to north and central China. After a string of worker suicides, Foxconn has been blamed and forced to raise its worker’s salaries.

The worker salary increase will decrease Foxconn’s benefits. Thus, Foxconn has decided to move out of Shenzhen. According to a previous report, Foxconn has almost abandoned its base in Shenzhen. Instead, it will move to Tianjin or Shandong province. There the labor force is much cheaper.

Now, it has made another decision to shift Apple production to north and central China. Apple fans will buy Apple products in north and central China latter.

It is said that Foxconn has talked with Apple to pass on some higher labor costs but Apple hasn’t agreed. An executive said that Apple was ready to use some of the new locations.
