| A dinosaur fossil skeleton is on display at Jide Square in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. The dinosaur has a 13-meter-long neck and an overall length of 26 meters, making it the longest dinosaur fossil in Asia. The mamenchisaurus, which lived about 140 million years ago, was found in Jingyan county of Sichuan province in the 1990s. The sponsor of the exhibit, which will last from July 1 to July 18, has insured the fossil for 5.7 million yuan ($840,000), from chinadaily. |
