I´m a tiger too. But why does the text say female tigers are faithful? Hello!!! Male are too! I found somewhere year, month, day and time definitions and I was a tiger in all of them. Well, I was born at 5 am sharp, so it is on the edge, but anyway. My best match is horse, so... but hey, my Lao Po is one!!! Lucky me, heh Carlos

Haha, Carlos. Ask your wife if she studies your Chinese zodiac before getting married with you. I don't know if people living in cities care about this very much. But people in countryside still attach great importance to the date of birth and the eight characters of a horoscope (生辰八字). If the match-maker wants to introduce a girl to you, she must have gotten your 生辰八字 first to see if yours is compatible with the girl she is going to introduce to you. This is very popular in ancient China. Now this tradition is still observed in the countryside. My zodiac is OX and best match is rat, snake and rooster. Shall I insist on looking for a rat, snake or rooster? The rat usually is one year old than me. The snake is 4 years younger than me and the rooster, 8 years younger. Which one is best?

Mmmm... The rat could also be 11 years younger than you? Perhaps she would be too young? Finding a good woman is like tasting different ice creams before finds the best tasting and when find it, you can´t afford it any more, because all has gone to the ice creams tasted before. Before I met my Lao Po I used to say that even a good woman is... a woman. I have swallowed my words now. It really is possible to find ice cream that tastes good and brings not ache to stomach. I don´t give any advice, only say that take the first one that feels the right one without asking if she is a snake or a rooster. Oh, damn, that was an advice... consider it bygone. Carlos

And there is self hints when it comes to the our zodiac aminal and its matching. Again different source shows different matching principles except that one rule of thumb, i.e. six years older or younger is avoided. Besides, there are other interesting 'non-sence', i.e., sheep comes to deadend when meeting tigers, only one can survive when dragon and tigher are together, and there is no harmony and bliss forever when roosters meet dogs....and the years difference for good matching is odd number not even one... But anyway I have more belief in blood type and living and growing enviroment counts as well. By the way, as a boar, the best match according to my experience and other reading sourc are horse, tiger, sheep, ox and rat.

Good job, Marrie, you give me a warning that I 'd better choose a dragon, but it is also a case that he will be one year younger than me, and no way if he is a round older than me. How can I do/?

I am not going to stay in jail. The ideal situation is that the rat is a boy and the ox is a girl. They are the best match. Good analogy for looking GF, Carlos. Sometimes, you need to believe your first impression. |
