You can apply for China visas individually at Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, not the group visa with a travel agency.
The basic requirements are as follows:
A. One completed visa application form;
B. One recent 2-inch passport sized photo;
C. A valid original passport with blank pages.There must be at least ONE TOTALLY BLANK PAGE in the passport. Pages for endorsements or amendments can not be used as a visa page.

Except for what you list zbove, you'd better list your itinerary (such as Beijing City tour and Great Wall tour) in China, which can stongly support your visa application. The general processing time is 4 working days.
