Anyway, they won. After watching the final, I just want to say that it is the dirtiest and most violent final. In all, the referee showed 12 yellow cards and 1 red card. Netherlands got 7 yellow cards and 1 red card. So far, they have gotten 22 yellow cards at South Africa World Cup. No one can compete with them on winning the yellow cards. If you watched the game, you would notice that Dutch footballer was very versatile. Nigel De Jong told us that he could use Chinese Kung Fu. He should be expelled after he kicked Alonso. The referee was so kind and just gave him a yellow card. Even Netherland won the champion, they should have felt ashamed. Luckily, Andres Iniesta scored a goal and helped Spain win the champion. The champion is very important. But I think playing soccer fairly is the most important. Just play like heroes and you will win respect and honor even if you lose. Alonso is said to get hurt badly. Probably, his ribs were smashed. He was so excited to celebrate their victory and didn't notice his injury. Later, he told the team doctor that he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

The Netherlands played a dirty final. The coach and his men knew that they couldn't compete with Spain on football skills. Thus, they made a plan to tackle Spain's attack by risking of getting yellow cards.

If you watched the game, you would notice that Spain controled the ball for a long time. The Dutch players were angry because they couldn't touch the ball. So they kicked the Spainish players.

The Netherlands were smart. They knew that the Spain had many talented footballers and their skills were excellent. To fight them, they came up with this idea----doing whatever they could to stop the Spain, even they fouled Spanish players. In this way, they got a chance to win the match. This is their tactics.

The football matches have been comercialized. Winning World Cup is a great honor, especially for a team who never won the champions before.

i don't like the Netherlands' style but I should say that they did the right thing.

GUEST3567	For fans, they definitely want to watch exciting matches. But the World Cup final is different. Both sides want to win the champion. No one is going to give up. Thus, they will fight harder. In friendly or exhibition matches, you might see them playing "clearly" since they don't burden any pressure even they lose the game. Spain didn't play clearly too. They also got several yellow cards.
