Money is recyclable?
Jul 11, 2010 21:57
Zimbabwe's government abolished its own currency in Feb last year. Meanwhile, foreign currency is allowed for circulation. Thus, US dollar is very popular in Zimbabwe.

Some US dollars are very dirty and smelly. The locals come up with an idea that they put these US dollars into washing machine and dry the dollars. It is surprising that these US dollars are not broken. They look nice after being washed.

One of my friends works in ZImbabwe. Everything is expensive after the government abolished its currency. He didn't make calls via his cellphone. Instead, he used internet phone which was comparatively cheaper.
