Yiull Damaso, a local artist in South Africa has made a special painting, depicting Nelson Mandela (the former president of South Africa) is undergoing dissection. Mandela is lying in a loincloth while Nkosi Johnson, an Aids activist who died aged 12, points to his arm stripped of flesh. The spectators include Archbishop Desmond Tutu and politicians FW de Klerk, Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma. His painting has provoked hatred and been compared to witchcraft by South Africa's governing party.

Actually, Damaso just imitates the artwork of Rembrandt's 17th-century masterpiece The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp. He just wants to call on people to face that Mandela will die one day though he is a great man. Mandela will be 92 years old late this month. His future death is unavoidable.

Nelson Mandela is like a god to South Africa people. It is a taboo in South Africa to talk about his death even everyone understands that he will die one day. He is a great man but also an ordinary man too. Don't exaggerate him.
