How to organize a visit to HuaShan starting from Pingyao

MADGRIN Points: Join Date: Jun 4, 2010 Status: offline	Hi to all, on the first of August we'll arrive in Pingyao and we are planning to visit HuaShan. We found this train train 2671 departure : Pingyao @ 00.00 arrive : HuaShan @ 6.50am cost pp : 70 RMB but we are not able to understand where it will left us and what we have to do to visit HuaShan. After visited HuaShan we'll take another train train G2001 departure : HuaShan @ 09.40 arrive : Xi'an @ 10.30am cost pp : 46 RMB to Xi'an. Will it leave HuaShan from the same train station? THANKS!

departure : HuaShan @ 09.40
arrive : Xi'an @ 10.30am
cost pp : 46 RMB

to Xi'an.

Will it leave HuaShan from the same train station?

Train 2671 arrives at Huashan Railway Station while G2001 dapartures from Huashan North Railway station. They are two different stations.

From huashan station to the toursim site, one can travel by
1. taxi (10-15rmb/one)
2. local bus which departes from Huashan Railway Station Square to Jade Spring Temple of Mt huashan. The bus trip takes about 45 minutes and the ticket costs about CNY 12.

After visiting huashan, you can go to Huashan north railway station by taxi to take a bullet (G2001, G2003, G2007, G2011, G2013) train to xian or go back to the Huashan station to take a normal train to xian, i.e. 2671, K213, K896/K897 and so on.

Other ways from Huashan to xian:
1. Take the Tourism bus line 1 which starts from Dongshanmen Parking Lot to Xian Railway Station at at 17:00. The bus ticket costs CNY 22. It is suspended from January to March.
2. Take the regular bus which starts from Xishan Gate (the middle section of Yuquan Rd.) to Xian Railway Station from 07:00 to 22:00. The bus ticket costs CNY 31.5.
