Alternative to hotels, hostels and that: [tcgurl=http://www.barcelonacheckin.com/en/n/apartment_barcelona.php]holiday apartments in Barcelona[/tcgurl]or any other destination (I mention Barcelona because it is my hometown and I know that the apartment renting is becoming really popular in here). I guess it's the same in China.
They are especially a good idea if you travel with family, young children, pets, etc.
