Salam to everyone
I would like to share a good news to those who have the ability to teach Mandarin and also able to speak and communicate in English well. A public university in Malaysia is searching for suitable candidate(s) who will teach elementary Mandarin to non-Chinese undergraduates. The Basic requirements are i) bachelor degree in any discipline but preferably Chinese language, ii) proficient in English (as you will be teaching Mandarin to non-speakers).

If there are suitable candidates, the Vice Chancellor himself, and assisted by four professors will conduct the interview(s) in early August. They will be visiting Changzhi, Xi'an, Yuxi and Shenzhen. Those interested kindly contact me, or my niece in Shenzhen, Azizah Ma Yanping (+86) 13691725973.

'Alaykas salam, brother Ali, wa-rahmatullahi wa-barakatuh
Please ask your friend to contact Sister Ma at gmail.com|azizahmyp where the university has appointed her as the secretariat. I apologise for answering late as I seldom browse TCG due to my busy schedule. One thing she needs to know, she'll be teaching to undergraduates who are non-Chinese speakers, and the medium of intructions is English. So far we have provided conditional offer to six persons from PRC. As the intake will be until June 2011, your friend still has time to apply and polish her English. She and others who are interested may contact sister Ma Yanping for further clarifications.
