“The Center of the heaven and Earth”, 11 traditional structures, including Shaolin Temple, the Observatory, Songyang Academy, Taishi Towers and Zhongyue Temple., has been included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. So far, China has listed 39 world heritage sites, including 28 cultural heritage sites, seven natural heritage sites and four cultural and natural heritage sites. The only pity is that Shaolin Kungfu failed to be listed in the UNESCO’s Intangible Heritage List.

Will the admission fee rise after Shaolin Temple is included in the World Heritage List? This is what I care about.

This is what I care about. The ticket price for Shaolin Temple will not rise now, according to the offcials. I am not sure if the price will stay the same for long. The Danxia Mountain is also included in World Heritage List. The local offcials says it is possible that the ticket price will be increased. Why do so many tourist attractions compete for being listed in World Heritage List? Easy. They can raise the admission fees and make money. |

Why Shaolin Kungfu failed to be listed in the UNESCO's Intangible Heritage List? Are they suspicious of its origin? or what?

Latest news, Dan Xia is also on her way to increase its entrance fee. Experts have pointed out that they put in about several billions to application for World Heritage List. They need to earn them back...........
