Are IP phone cards generally sold at a discount? or do you have to bargain for a lower price? Is the airport a good place to buy an IP phone card, or do they charge full price ? is there a nickname for the IP card, or do they understand "IP ka" ?

As far as I know, the IP cards are usually sold cheaper than its values, for example, if you buy a 50 yuan IP card, you needn't pay 50 yuan. It is cheaper. Both China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom sell IP cards. You can go to the their business halls to buy IP cards. The prices may not be the cheapest but they are true cards. There are some guys who sell these cards on the streets too. But there are fake cards. Be ware of that.

If you use an IP card, then coins will be unnecessary. You just enter the IP card number and code following the Voice Prompt(most of them have an English veision) and then make the call.
