Fuqing to Shanghai?

We're trying to figure out the best way to travel from fuqing to shanghai for the best price. Would you consider going by bus or train better? Please include details of the best buses or trains that you know!

GUESTCHRISTINE Seems there is only one bus from Fuqing (福清）to Shanghai.
Depart from Fuqing Long-distance bus station at 17:00
Ticket price around rmb250.

I prefer the bullet train D3204 from Fuqing to Shanghai South Railway Station.
Depart at 12:34 and the duration time is about 6.5 hours.
Ticket price: rmb289 for hard seat and rmb347 for soft seat.

Thank you for that info! Just out of curiosity do you know how long the bus ride is? I'll probably go with the train, but just checking out options.
