Hi,
I am traveling to Shanghai for the first time. I will need to take a train to Ningbo. I'm really concerned about getting lost since I am on a tight schedule. Can anyone tell me if the signs at the train stations are in English? Is it hard to buy a ticket and find the right place to go to? Do I buy a ticket there?

Thank you!

GUESTDUKE Shanghai South Railway Station, the signs at the train stations are both in Chinese and English. Do not worry about it. You can find the right place according to the signs or ask for the station staff. You can buy ticket there, but you'd better book a ticket in advance.

You can take bullet trains (D trains) from Shanghai to Ningbo. I have searched that there are 16 D trains. You can choose one according to your schedule.

Please refere to this page:

It also has ticket reservation service. Just check it.
