1st International walking around the Himalayas will take place in Lhasa and nepal from Sep 26 to Oct 11, 2010.

The organizers of the international events are IVV(International Volkssports Verband), Tibet Tourism Bureau, Nepal Tourism Bureau and Nepal Embassy in Beijing, undertakers of the event are CVA(China Volkssports Association) and Beijing Today Walk Center.

the route is from Lhasa---Yamdrok-tso Lake(elevation 4441 meter)—Gyantse ( elevation 4020 meter)— Shigatse---New Tingri(elevation 4320 meter)—Baiba (270kms)----Wuming Camp----Rongbu Monastery(elevation 4960 meter)—Everest Base Camp(elevation 5160 meter)---Rongbu Monastery—Zhangmu----Kodari —Kathmandu-----Lukla (2886m) and then to Phakding (2640m.) ----Namche Bazzar----Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860)-----Tengboche to Monjo (2835m.)-----Kathmandu to Lumbini----Kathmandu---hong kong
