In the second round, Ana Ivanovic had a stunning victory over Zheng Jie to storm into the third round. Well, she was not so lucky too. In the third round, Ivanovic was beaten by Kim Clijsters. In Women’s Double matches, Zheng Jie and Zhan Yongran (from Taipei) have beaten their rivals, entering to the quarter-final at the US Open.
