![]() | Hi All, Got a quick question, Planning a trip to China landing in Beijing 1st Nov, idea is as follows: 3 nights in Beijing, then overnight train to Xian 2 nights in Xian, then overnight train to Guilin 3 nights in Guilin then overnight train to Guangzho, then train to Hong Kong 2 nights in Hong Kong, then fly out evening of the last day. My question is, can we book the trains 2-3 days in advance without any trouble i.e land in Beijing and immediately book the next leg for 3 days later? I've done a fair amount of train travel and normally this isn't a problem, but 2 years ago in India we had to book the overnight sleeper trains up to 180 days in advance! I have been told it is not the same for China, and as there are no major holidays around that time this shouldn't be a problem... We are a group of 3 by the way, and looking at hard sleepers (i've checked out times and a proper route with potential prices already) Thanks in advance |

![]() | Yes, it's not the high season for traveling in November. I think you can buy them on the arrival day at the railway stations or the ticket windows in the city. Train tickets in china are usually sold 10-15 days ahead. |
