| GUEST32162 | Ah...sorry to say there will be no "stop" for the high speed train at Fuwan...yes the train does go by there..and keeps on going! What is the point of a high speed train between Haikou and Sanya that stops at every town and village along the way?The express bus would be faster. It is only about a 30 minute bus ride from Sanya though.And you will be on the bus alot as there are no stores or supermarkets anywhere near Fuwan I like your photo...you get that out of the sales brochure? ;) |

| The guest above, who failed to identify himself, seems to serve no useful purpose other than bashing other's posts. The development name is Fu Li Wan(Rich Energy Bay), not Fu Wan. The Fu Li construction company was voted the best construction company in China for four years straight. The fast train does stop behind Fu Li Wan, at the town of Zing Zhou Zhen and there is a free bus from the development to take you there. That is where the food shopping is. The traffic in Sanya has tripled or quadrupled in the last five years. Fu Li Wan is for those who want to get away from the rat race, not join it. Until Feb 28th call 86 1888 768 600 84. | Just back from Fu Li Wan. Train to Sanya takes :20 at 250 km/hour. Costs $4 for first class. $2 to sit with the mountain folk. Development has a free bus to Sanya or Lingzhui a couple of times a day. Also have a development taxi. Lingzhui is where the train stops and markets are. Ging north to Haiku the train also stops at Yalong Bay. Many people rent a car in Sanya. Beaches are super clean and no one on them. Would be the best kite surfing spot in the world if anybody had one. Waves about 1 meter so a little too small for surfing. Development has indoor basketball, pool hall, swimming pool, hot tub, bar, tennis courts, store, and coffee shop. Neighbouring folks will sell you coconuts from the tree for 2 RMB. |
