Directions from Beijing to Tianjin

TALO Points: Join Date: Sep 22, 2010 Status: offline	I will be arriving in Beijing Airport at 9pm and need to get to the Familiar Hotel in Hexi District, Tianjin. Could you tell me the best way to reach the Familiar Hotel

You may go to Tianjin first by one of those [tcgurl=http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/transportation/airport-shuttle.htm#tia]buses from Beijng Capital Airport to tianjin city[/tcgurl],
Then from Tianjin Tianhuan Passenger Transport Station to your hotel, you may take a taxi, it takes about rmb20. I'm afraid you can not catch the bus since it will be late when you arrive at Tianjin.

GUEST71235	I understand that there is a bullet train to Tianjin departing from Beijing south station. Is there any convenient/quick way to get from Beijing airport to south station?

Take airport shuttle bus line 5 to Zhongguancun(中关村) and then change subway line 4 to get off at Beijing South Railway Station. Remember that the last bullet train from Beijing to Tianjin leaves at 23:00. The airport shuttle bus line 5 runs between 6:50 and 24:00.

You can get to No.15 Gate, 1F of T2 or No.3 Gate, 1F of T3 to take bus from the airport to Tianjin. It leaves at 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, and every 45 minutes from 09:00 to 23:00. Ticket fare: CNY80
Time: 2.5 hours.

Remember that the airport shuttle bus arrives at Tianhuan Bus Station. Then you need walk to Chuanranbingyiyuan (传染病医院) to take 903 bus to Dongmalu(东马路) and walk about 500 meters to Dohutong (大胡同). There you can take bus to Daqiuzhuang。
