We have a limited time in China.
we are going for sure to yangshuo, Yunnan, xian, beijing, pinyao, shanghai, putuoshan, suzhou, hangzhou
and have time for only 2 of the 3 following locations :
chengde, qufu, datong
Which 2 would you choose, which one would you not go to? thanks a lot all of you for your input.
It is so valuable!!!!

Hello, Copoix!

For the options of Qufu, Datong and Chengdu, I'll definitely choose Qufu and Datong which are more famous for traditional Chinese culture. You will have a lot of things to see in those two places. Yungang Caves and Hanging Monastery in Datong can never be missed. Qufu is the hometown of Confucius,i had been to there once and found the city is nice and neat.

I think you should go to Datong and Chengde depend on your route.

Because Datong was near Pingya, and Chengde was near to Beijing, you don't need to change your direction:-)

But Qufu was really a nice place because of Kongzi!!!

Good luck!
