Travelling to Beijing in July

I intend to travel to Beijing In July. I was told that the place will be extremely hot and unpleasant. Any advice please.

July in Beijing is around 35 degrees, and does not cool down too much in the night. Most of the hotels, restaurants, shops have aircon though.
