Question about funerals
Oct 6, 2010 16:59
guest11691 I am curious about the kind of ceremonies performed in China when a buddhist monk dies, are they private, just among monks or are the opened to whoever wants to present respects? What kind of rituals are performed in those cases? Are they different from any other person or do they have special rituals?

I'm very interested in it too. In fact I just visited another Pagoda Forest a couple of days ago and I think they are just amazed. That one was more than 1000 years old and it's just something. Bathing in the afternoon's sunshine, I just fell into peace all of a sudden when I saw it. I suppose it would be something fantastic for a funeral. but need to work on it... Keep me updated with it though:-)
