where else should I go while in Hong Kong and Guanzhou for 2 weeks?

We have a condo in Guanzhou for 2 weeks. Are there other cities within a few hours that would be interesting. We can fly to another country nearby also. We will spend a few days in Hong Kong and have been north to Bejing, Shanghai, Xian and along the Yantzhee. Any advice on where to travel once there.
