Xi'an Daming Palace National Heritage Park opened to public on Oct 1

On October 1st, the [tcgurl=https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/shaanxi/xian/daming-palace.htm]Daming Palace National Heritage Park[/tcgurl] was open to the public. From October 1st to October 7th, various events were held, including the Daming Palace Art Festival, the Silk Road Art Performance, summit of ancient city's development and relic protection and a "Daming palace - world's heritage" summit.

Daming Palace has six major sites and ten popular viewing areas. Most scenic spots are free for visit except for relic display areas, 3D cinemas and art performances. There are eight rental stops. Tourists can rent bikes to tour the whole park. The recreational facilities are built there too like a small football field and a basketball court.

Ticket price: 60 RMB for adults (Oct. 1, 2010--- May 31, 2011).
