Guangzhou metro new line 2 and line 8 operated on Sep 25

The New [tcgurl=https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/guangzhou/subway/line2.htm]Line 2[/tcgurl] (Jiehewanggang Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station) and [tcgurl=https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/guangzhou/subway/line8.htm]Line 8[/tcgurl] (Wanshengwei Station to Changgang Station) and [tcgurl=https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/guangzhou/subway/line4.htm]Line 4[/tcgurl] north extension (Chebei South Station to Huangcun Station) were put into use for trial operations on September 25.

The interval between trains on the new line 2 is set from 3 minutes and 40 seconds to 4 minutes and from 4 minutes 30 seconds to 5 minutes for Line 8.
