traffic situation on a monday morning

I need to arrive Pudong airport at around 8am this monday morning as my flight is at 10.15am.
I would like to know how is the traffic situation by taxi at that time. How long would the taxi journey take?
Or if I were to take the metro, would it be convenient if I have 2 luggages to take along. What are the peak hours during a monday morning?

Forgot to tell that I am staying in Haigang hotel at Taixing road and will be taking metro line 2.

You may take subway line 2 at West Nanjing Road(南京西路) to Pudong Airport. Subway peak time: 7:30-9:30. If you want to use subway, I suggest you get to West Nanjing Road Station as early as possible. The first subway (line 2) arrives at 5:58 am.
