i am after a recipe for a chinese dish

i used to work for chinese people that had an all u can eat
they used to serve roast, salad, fish, dessert and chinese

they used to make these buns/rolls they had no meat in them and they either steamed or deep fried them

i did ask what they were called and was told chinese sweet roll/bun

i have searched the net cant find the recipe please help i have asked more chinese shops and they look at me like im strange lol

i have also had them at blacktown all u can eat in the club there



please help i love them

Sweet roll? I am guessing if it is 驴打滚, a famous snack in Beijing.

Or is it a kind of steamed stuffed bun(包子)? We usually fill black sugar inside it and then steam it.

but the ones i had did not have any filling inside them they more looked like they were rolled out flat then rolled up and cut
