The magic Paul (an octopus) who has gained its fame with his accurate predications at 2010 World Cup dies in Sea Life Aquarium. He was just 2.5 years old.

It is said that the octopus’ mean lifetime is around 3. Generally, an octopus can live for 2 to 3 years. Few can live for 4 years. A zoologist once predicted that Magic Paul could live at least for two years. Unfortunately, he was dead now.

Many football fans wish that the Magic Paul could make predictions about 2012 European Cup. Now it is impossible.

He dies when he is famous. He will become a legend in the future.

How sad! He will be a legend. But I heard that Paul was already dead before the final of the World Cup in South Africa.

A Chinese film producer said that she thought Paul was dead three months ago. She was making a film about Paul and went to the aquarium and hoped that she could shoot video clips about Paul. But the aquarium was not cooperative. She suspected that Paul might already be dead. Later, the aquarium found a substitute for her and hid the truth.

Did she tell the truth?

The aquarium builds a statue of Paul to commemorate him. The statue is about 2 meters high.

You can see Paul lying on a football. Inside is Paul's ashes.
